About Plush Chocolates and our passion for Fairtrade

For some, this means a little treat in life, for others this means living with dignity. We are the Plush Choccy Girls and we are as passionate about chocolate as we are about Fairtrade, which is why we’ve married the two with our delicious Fairtrade chocolate products. These dreamy taste sensations are both fabulous and fair.
All of products are guaranteed Fairtrade
Unlike other companies who only have a few Fairtrade products in their ranges, all Plush Chocolates are FAIRTRADE certified and carry the FAIRTRADE Mark. The Fairtrade ingredients used include: cocoa mass, cocoa butter, cane sugar, vanilla, coffee and rum.
We use innovative and ethical packaging
Another area close to our heart, our ranges feature handmade fairly traded gift boxes, reusable and recyclable boxes. Our chocolate trays are made from Plantic, a biodegradable and compostable material made from renewable and sustainable resources.
We hope you enjoy our delicious chocolates as much as we do, especially as you can be sure the farmers and skilled artisans have been paid a fair price for their work.
With over 14 years combined experience working for Oxfam, we are passionate about making life better for others and overcoming poverty through trade. We are so proud to have played a part in bringing the Fairtrade concept in to the mainstream and making Fairtrade products readily accessible.
So, after leaving Oxfam to set up Plush Chocolates in 2008, we wanted to do everything we could to combine our love of chocolate with improving the lives of the producers behind the Fairtrade ingredients in our products.
